The Institute has launched four special interest working groups to develop advanced content and assets for members. The four initial areas of research are:
Journey value benchmarking SIG is developing a framework for measuring journey ROI and a robust template for recording value delivered from journey initiatives, which will then form a library of benchmark examples for all to share and learn from.
Journey positioning and awareness SIG is developing a simple and powerful terminology to describe why journey management is important and how it delivers business value. Followed by a promotional plan to raise awareness of journey management and the Institute.
Journey definitions and standards SIG is developing a set of standard definitions for the words used and approaches taken in journey management, to allow the industry to come together and speak a unified language.
Journey education and certification SIG is developing an approach to shared training materials in journey management - pooling those available from the founder members, including the Forrester Journey-Centricity course, and creating an Institute approach to certification.
